You don't have to get sick or get hurt for you to slow down. Recently, the universe asked me to slow down. I was ripping down the mountain on my snowboard when, out of nowhere, I ate it big time. It was an ice day, so the snow was extra packed, basically like concrete. I caught an icy heel edge and launched backward down the mountain in the air. I landed on my spine, whiplashing my neck and cracking my helmet. It was a hard hit. I was shaken, but OK.
