In this episode of the Happy Hustle Podcast, I share a very easy way that you can do to balance your day to live a happier life. And that’s the 8-8-8 rule.
By allocating eight hours for sleep, eight hours for work, and eight hours for personal time, you can achieve a more balanced lifestyle.
Let’s break it down. For sleep, it’s important to maintain a consistent sleeping schedule, create a conducive sleep environment, and disconnect from technology 30 minutes before bed and 30 minutes after waking up. By doing so, you’ll be able to get the restful sleep you need to feel energized and productive throughout the day.
For work, it’s important to set boundaries, leverage the key 3 (the three most important tasks you need to accomplish each day), and take regular breaks. This will help you maximize your productivity while avoiding burnout and overwhelm.
Lastly, for personal time, prioritize self-care, have fun doing things you enjoy, and be present with your loved ones. It’s important to take care of yourself and enjoy life outside of work to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
