1.Build the rapport
Your first initial 30 to 60 seconds of the interaction will often dictate the overall vibe and ultimately the sales call success.
2. Find the pain and obstacle
Find the pain in their life. What are they struggling with? What is their weakness? What are they looking for help with?
3. Identify the dream, the want, and why
Figure out what they actually want. Identify what their dream is and determine why they want what they want.
4. Demonstrate future success, show a story of what’s possible
People need case studies and social proof to know it is possible for them. Showcase their successes, paint the picture for them.
5. Qualify properly
Know your perfect target avatar. If it’s not a fit or they don’t qualify, walk away from the sale and be okay with that. Oftentimes, when we sell to the wrong type of client, it just ends up causing more problems than it’s worth.
6. Create ethical urgency and scarcity
People often need a push to take action. You can give them the necessary incentive by creating ethical urgency and scarcity.
7. Congratulate and present opportunity
Congratulate them and present them with the opportunity to purchase your product or service. Desperate salespeople don’t sell. Frame the sale as the opportunity that it is.
